CFA Institute Access Scholarship

A global need-based scholarship

Designed to make the CFA Program more affordable, this scholarship reduces the exam fee to USD 400 and includes the Practice Pack.

Who Should Apply:

  • Candidates with financial need
  • Open to Levels I, II, and III
  • Not currently registered or awaiting results
  • No unused CFA scholarship
  • Not employer-sponsored

Applications are reviewed directly by CFA Institute.


Accelerate Scholarship

The Accelerate Scholarship is part of a regional collaboration among select CFA societies, designed to support high-potential Nigerian candidates who demonstrate a strong commitment to the investment profession but face financial constraints. Recipients receive a significant reduction on the CFA Program exam registration fee, plus complimentary access to the CFA Program Practice Pack.

Who Should Apply:

  • Nigerian citizens (early to mid-career)
  • Planning for Level I or II
  • Strong financial need
  • Not registered or awaiting results

    Requirements:

    • CV (max 2 pages)
    • Motivation letter
    • Proof of financial need
    • Academic credentials
    • CFA result (Level II only)

    Women in Investment Management (WIM) Scholarship

    Supporting Nigerian women in finance

    The WIM Scholarship provides need-based financial support to eligible Nigerian women pursuing the CFA® Program. Administered locally by CFA Society Nigeria, awards cover examination fees either in full or at 50%, helping women overcome financial barriers to achieving the CFA charter.

    Eligibility:

    • Nigerian women only
    • First Class or Second-Class Upper degree
    • Unemployed / under-employed, or earning ≤ NGN 300k/month
    • One exam per candidate

    Level Progression:

    • Level II: >70% in all Level I modules
    • Level III: >70% in Levels I & II

    Unemployed applicants require two references (including one CFA charterholder).
