In a bold step toward equity and inclusion in the finance industry, the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee of CFA Society Nigeria has opened applications for the 2025/2026 Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Women in Investment Management (DEI WIM) Scholarships. This program is designed to support Nigerian women who aspire to earn the prestigious CFA designation but face financial barriers.
Why This Matters
The CFA charter is globally recognized and opens doors to leadership roles in investment management. Yet, many talented women are held back by financial constraints. This scholarship aims to change that narrative by offering exam fee support to deserving candidates.
Who Can Apply?
Eligible applicants must:
- Be Nigerian women with a First Class or Second-Class Upper degree from a Nigerian university.
- Be unemployed, under-employed, or earning below NGN 300,000 net monthly.
- Meet performance benchmarks in CFA exams (e.g., scoring above 70% in all modules of Level I to qualify for Level II support).
Exam Windows Covered:
- CFA Level I – May 2026
- CFA Level II – May 2026
- CFA Level III – August 2026
