Title: Analyst, Financial Advisory

Reports to: Associate/Vice President/Team Lead

Job Summary: The candidate shall be responsible for supporting the Associates, Vice Presidents and Team Leads in originating and executing M&A, restructuring and other corporate finance transactions

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Working with the team leads and senior partners to deliver high-quality pitchbooks, proposals, and presentations

• Executing key aspects of financial advisory mandates with minimal supervision across various sectors. Required to ensure quality output including but not limited to teasers, financial models, valuation reports, business plans, information memorandum, and managing buy- and sell- due diligence

• Conduct relevant industry research and update database accordingly

• Monitoring macroeconomic environment, capital market conditions and relevant regulations/policies impacting various industries

• Handling administrative duties relating to the unit

• Participate in the management and development of the department by carrying out marketing and proposal efforts

• Developing financial models as required, preparing financial projections (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, etc.)

• Presenting financial analysis in a reader-friendly manner to highlight most important take-aways

• Provide market insights to the Executive management team, including financial trends, shareholder concerns, competitor actions, and any other factors that may be of interest.


• Excellent computer skills and working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc

• Good knowledge of accounting and applied financial theory

• Ability to create a decent PowerPoint presentation and word documents

• Good writing, and communication skills

• Strong research and learning skills

• Strong analytical abilities, self-confidence, persistence, initiative, and persuasiveness

Education and Experience

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, a strong preference for a degree in accounting and/or finance related disciplines

• Master’s degree in a Finance-related course or Professional Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CFA) will be an added advantage

• Up to 2 years relevant experience in a financial advisory or consultancy firm.
